Prof. Prosenjit Roy “On some functional Inequalities on Fractional Sobolev spaces”

The main aim of this talk is to give an overview of fractional Hardy, fractional Poincaré inequalities.

The problem of finding the best constant for fractional Poincaré inequality for strip-like domains will also be discussed.

The talk will be kept at a very elementary level and will be accessible to graduate students.
