Dr. Giulio Tralli “Kolmogorov semigroups and Besov seminorms: embeddings and asymptotics”

In this talk we will deal with interpolation seminorms of Besov type
constructed via the heat kernel of a class of linear degenerate elliptic
operators of Kolmogorov type. We will discuss embeddings of
isoperimetric flavour and approximations of L^p norms . We will mainly
focus on the geometric motivations and on the role of the large time
behaviour of the heat kernels.
The talk is based on joint works coauthored with F. Buseghin and N. Garofalo.
